What is improv?

Improv or improvisation is unscripted theatre where everything is made up on the spot. It is an excellent way to better your communication skills, boost confidence, and unlock creativity. It will help you be more confident in spontaneous situations.

Why Moscow Improv Club?

Moscow Improv Club is the first international community and school of improv in Moscow, est. 2015. We’ve been teaching adults for 5 years, providing an opportunity to grow and perform on a national as well as international levels.

What’s the program of Level 1?
Level 1 includes 2 full courses on improvised comedy and acting which ends with a graduation show where students can showcase their work.

- 8 improv classes, 120 min each;
- 8 public speaking classes, 60 min each;
- 4 acting classes, 60 min each;
- free online international improv jams;
- a students’ graduation show;
- homework;
- a WhatsApp chat to keep in touch with your teachers and classmates.

Throughout the whole course, you’ll be studying in a fun and friendly environment, which will help you obtain skills better. You’ll be learning to accept other people’s ideas, say "yes" to things, unleash your creativity and comedic potential, make mistakes, and love them. 

Author of the course: Dina Mild — an improv and theatre trainer, with more than 7 years of experience teaching students and improv instructors. She’s the founder of Moscow Improv Club, a radio host at Capital FM, stand-up comedian and podcaster.

Improv instructor: Zhenya Sineva — an experienced improviser and performer, a member of the main cast of Moscow Improv Club, linguist, admissions consultant to top UK and US universities, fan of everything British. Spent most of her adult life living abroad in Europe and Asia. 

Acting and public speaking instructor: Dmitry Strigin — theatre act or and teacher. Graduated from RUTI-GITIS (the Russian Academy of Theater Arts) with an acting degree and Moscow State Linguistic University.

Time and dates: Level 1 launches on Tuesday, July 22 th.
- Improv classes are Every Thursday 20:00-22:00 — July 22, 29; August 5, 12, 19, 26; September 2, 9.
- Public speaking classes are every Tuesday 20:00-21:00 — July 22, 27; August 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; September 7.
- Acting classes are every Tuesday 21:00-22:00 — August 17, 24, 31; September 7.
