“Stereotypes”

Stereotypes is a collection of sketches and stories where we explore how we perceive the world around us and ourselves in it. In this format we blend in the stereotypes that not always come hand in hand. In doing so, we get a closer understanding what these "common" stereotypes say about us.

The actors will ask you a few suggestions, something that comes up when you think of a certain group of people or a country, and will build characters and stories on that.

Carmen, a gender-flipped Film Noir fantasy (UK/Canada/US)

Sultry and cool, Carmen is a gender-swapped Film Noir fantasy. Step into a world of drama, tension, sex and intrigue, where the struggle between good and evil is real and personal.

About Matryoshka improv festival:

Matryoshka is the first international festival based in Moscow, Russia. Organized by the team of Moscow Improv Club, it is aimed to bring together professionals and enthusiasts of the improv community from all over the world.
